About the Person

Prior to promotion, Kal Iyer serves as Senior Vice President, Research & Development, Kal is responsible for Glu's product development, operations and IT organizations. With over 20 years of experience in product development and over 8 years at Glu.
Kal was instrumental in putting together Glu’s core engineering organization and solidifying Glu’s position as a global leader in mobile gaming.
Prior to joining Glu in 2003, Kal worked at Pumatech International where he architected and built the infrastructure for mobile browsing. Prior to Pumatech, Kal held senior consulting positions for Fortune 50 companies and building high performance enterprise systems. Kal has a B.S. in Mathematics from Jabalpur University, India.
