About the Person
Joe Zakutney is Vice President, Applications Development of The Hershey Company responsible for global applications development for the corporation. Zakutney joined The Hershey Company in 1997, and has held leadership positions across all IS disciplines including Director, Manufacturing and HR systems; Director, SAP Upgrade; Director, Operations and Technical Services; and Program Manager for Hershey's initial SAP Program. Prior to joining Hershey, Zakutney was the Manager of Information Services at Honeywell/ Alliant Techsystems in Annapolis, Maryland. He also spent 11 years in the field of Technology Product Development holding various Management, Software, and Systems Engineering positions at Honeywell, Alliant Techsystems and Raytheon. Zakutney is a graduate of Wharton's advanced management program and holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
