About the Person

For the past fourteen years, Jonathan Levine has served in a number of senior leadership roles at Rakuten, a Japanese ecommerce and Internet company.  Most recently, he was Rakuten`s Vice-CTO [and the Vice Managing Director of Rakuten Group`s Development Unit], where he was responsible for global technology and corporate infrastructure.  Levine was also a board member of Fusion Communications, Rakuten`s telecommunications carrier, ISP and public cloud subsidiary. During his tenure, Rakuten expanded from fewer than fifty employees to more than 10,000. Prior to his long career at Rakuten, Levine was co-founder and VP of Engineering at ePhysician.
