South Charleston, WV-based Liberty Hydro has Appointed John Taylor as Chief Technology Officer
Liberty Hydro, Inc. designs and manufactures water purification systems for extraction industries. It provides reverse osmosis vehicle for remediation and packaged water treatment units; pH2O controllers; selenium and arsenic remover units; and consulting services on a range of water issues. The company was founded in 2009 and is based in South Charleston, West Virginia.
John Taylor serves as Chief Technology Officer of Liberty Hydro, Inc. Mr. Taylor is an inorganic chemist with 30 years of analytical expertise working for West Point Pepperell, Union Carbide Corporation and now Liberty Hydro. While at Union Carbide, he supported the global analytical chemistry needs of the business lines devoted to ethylene oxide and ethylene glycol and achieved Six Sigma Black Belt certification in 2005. Dr. Taylor is a consultant on water chemistry, including frac water and osmolality. Mr. Taylor holds his PhD in inorganic chemistry from Auburn University, Alabama, which was preceded by a BSc Honors degree in chemistry from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology in the U.K.
