John McRae joined Syniverse in 2007 and has built a career encompassing more than 20 years of leadership positions for leading mobile, financial services and strategic consulting companies. In July 2014, he was named Chief Information Officer, for which he maintains responsibility for Syniverse’s technical and customer operations globally, including network and data center operations, service delivery, information security, desktop support, and implementation and customer support for the Mobile Transaction Services business. Prior to becoming CIO, Mr. McRae served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Enterprise and Intelligence Solutions and Senior Vice President of Global Customer Operations, overseeing a wide range of Syniverse customer support operations worldwide. Prior to Syniverse, he was CEO of Nationwide Credit, a global provider of customer-relationship and accounts-receivable management services. Earlier, Mr. McRae held senior operations and consulting positions at several companies, including Emdeon and Deloitte Consulting. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from the University of Michigan, Dearborn, and an MBA in operation and management from Case Western Reserve University.
