About the Person

As a client facing principal, Jamison serves AGP’s clients in many different capacities. He manages the SSAE 16 – SOC report (formerly SAS 70) engagements, which are crucial for the evaluation of a service organization’s internal controls. Jamison is also responsible for directing the IT portion of financial statement audits and reviews, as well as performing a variety of IT-intensive analytics. He advises clients on the proper assessments of their IT risks, compliance requirements, and the design and implementation of internal controls. Jamison supervises the electronic discovery (e-discovery) portions of litigation support and forensic accounting engagements, providing enhanced data mining and discovery capabilities for civil disputes, bankruptcies and fraud investigations. A native of Texas, Jamison relocated to Northeast Ohio from Dallas where he most recently served as senior manager at a large regional firm. Prior to that Jamison spent several years with Ernst & Young and KPMG. Jamison received his BBA in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School in College Station, Texas. He also obtained his MBA from Texas A&M University in Commerce, Texas. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA); Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
