About the Person

John Herbert is the Executive Vice President Operations Strategy & CIO for 20th Century Fox. His responsibilities for this dual role are to drive operational efficiencies, while reducing costs, across all business units and for defining the information technology strategic direction at Fox. Herbert’s role includes working with the executive team to define business strategies, developing business process improvements, and identifying technology enablement opportunities. Before assuming the CIO role, Herbert served as Vice President, IT Worldwide Home Entertainment, working with the executive team to shape the overall IT strategy within Fox. He has been involved in defining the strategy and infrastructure to service and distribute content through both traditional and emerging distribution channels. Prior to joining 20th Century Fox ten years ago, Herbert worked in the automotive industry for eleven years managing a global IT team that supported all aspects of manufacturing and distribution.
