About the Person
John Dick is the chief information officer (CIO) for Towers Watson. He has global accountability for the systems and technology supporting the organization. He joined Towers Watson in 2012. John has more than 30 years of information technology, consulting and financial services experience. This includes serving as CIO for Western Union, Regions Financial and Ally Financial (formerly GMAC NA). His experience also extends to leadership and consulting positions with large banks, as well as PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is widely recognized and published as an expert on information technology and leadership. A graduate of the University of Virginia’s School of Commerce, John earned an M.B.A. degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, and has completed executive leadership programs at the Center for Creative Leadership and the MIT Sloan School of Business. He currently serves on the board of advisors of the CIO Executive Council.
