Joel Scotkin, Co-founded Random Walk Computing, Inc., in 1995 and served as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Scotkin has applied his expertise in enterprise technology and the financial markets to create a consulting firm dedicated to helping financial institutions meet their mission-critical technology goals. Prior to founding Random Walk, he worked with JPMorgan's newly formed Internet Group, where he helped them become one of the first major banking institutions to embrace the World Wide Web and developed the initial deployment technology for the groundbreaking RiskMetrics initiative. In addition to working closely with Random Walk's blue-chip client base, he has worked actively in the Java development community and is a frequent contributor to various technology and financial publications. He also boasts strong Linux expertise, providing Random Walk with a technical expertise that allows it to focus on applying the best of the latest technologies at minimum risk. He graduated from Brown University with degrees in Computer Science and Philosophy.
