About the Person

Joan Shea, a member of the Regis College board since 2008, has served as deputy comptroller and CIO for the state of Massachusetts since 2003. Joan Shea received a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago. She is the former president of Shea Solutions, Inc. a professional services firm providing strategic and managerial consulting to public and non-profit industries. Mrs. Shea brings to Regis College a wealth of knowledge of financial, management and human resources systems having worked in both the private and public sectors throughout her career. She is a deputy comptroller for the state of Massachusetts and an adjunct professor at Suffolk University.
