Today Railinc applications and services are embedded in critical operations and financial systems throughout the industry and support railroads, equipment owners and rail industry suppliers along every link of the supply chain. We deliver more than 9 million messages each day over our EDI network, including transportation waybills, advance train consists, blocking requests and responses, and trip plans. Railinc tracking and tracing services help customers identify cars and their shipments in the rail network. Other products help forecast train traffic conditions to prevent or reduce train congestion in critical areas like the Chicago Gateway. Railinc also maintains the only industry-accepted version of the North American railroad industry`s official code tables. About the Person
Jerry Traynham will be responsible for leading the company`s data, product development, and information systems platforms. He originally joined Railinc in 2005 as a project manager, and has since led a number of significant technology projects. Prior to moving to Railinc, he was director of project management and software development at Blue Shoe Technologies and also held leadership positions with Lucent Technologies, AT&T, and Bell Laboratories. Traynham holds a bachelor`s degree in electrical engineering from Clemson University.
