Jeffrey Sorenson, the DISA CIO since 2007 is retiring, effective November 5th.

As Army CIO Sorenson has championed the modernization of military IT, and has been a vocal proponent and force behind the Army's Land Warfare Network, that service's portion of the military's Global Information Grid.
