General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems provides the U.S. military and its allies around the world, an extensive range of weapons systems needed at all levels of strategic and tactical operations. For ground forces, we manufacture heavy machine guns, grenade launchers, crew-served weapons and munitions of all calibers. As well as family of lightweight vehicles for expeditionary and special forces. We produce weapons systems and ammunition for U.S. Navy shipboard applications. For airborne platforms, we produce weapons for fighter aircraft, including high-speed Gatling guns for all U.S. fixed-wing and rotary military aircraft. Our munitions portfolio covers the full breadth of naval, air and ground forces applications across all calibers and weapons platforms. We have 6,000 employees and 26 facilities spread across the United States and Canada.
