New York, NY-based Pragma Securities has appointed Jaime Jofre as Chief Technology Officer.
Pragma LLC is a quantitative technology provider of sophisticated, multi-asset trading algorithms and analytical solutions. Our Ph.D.-developed offerings are wholly aligned with and customizable for our clients: we do not internalize order flow, trade proprietarily, or act as an executing broker. Instead, we connect traders to markets in a transparent, intelligent manner that optimizes performance while still permitting clients significant control over their trading preferences. Beyond facilitating top-quality execution through our innovative trading tools, Pragma also applies our comprehensive, research-driven approach to crafting distinctive support and analytical services, which provide our clients, and their clients, with clear insight into how their specific trading behavior impacts overall performance.
Previously Jofre served as Head of Product Development Technology at Liquidnet Holdings, where he was responsible for heading the firm's product and technology development functions and overseeing the global expansion of the ATS for buy-side clients.
