Bronx, NY-based Montefiore Medical Center has Appointed Jack Wolf as Chief Information Officer

Jack Wolf is Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY. Mr. Wolf joined Montefiore in 1988 as Director of IT and was promoted to Vice President and Chief Information Officer in 1993. Mr. Wolf also serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Emerging Health Information Technology, a subsidiary of Montefiore Medical Center. A position he has held since its launch in 2001. Prior to joining Montefiore in 1988, Jack was in the retail industry where he spent 12 years with Associated Dry Goods Corporation. Jack began his management career in accounting as a Cost Accounting Manager for Singer Corporation’s Kearfott Aeronautics Division. Mr. Wolf holds a Masters Degree in Management/Finance from Rutgers University, a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from William Patterson University and a certificate in Data Processing from Computer Processing Institute. Mr. Wolf is Chairman of the Greater New York Hospital (GNYHA) HIT Steering Committee and a member of the Premier Alliance Healthcare HIT Steering Committee. He is also a member of Healthcare Advisory Board, College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME), Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), Greater New York Hospital Association (GNYHA), represents Montefiore Medical Center’s eHealth Initiatives and is a board member of the Y-Enterprise Business Center which is a City of Yonkers initiative to attract and grow the next generation of emerging growth companies. In addition, Jack guest lectures for the Masters programs at Columbia University and Iona College.
