Denver, CO-based Intrepid Potash accepted resignation of Hugh Harvey as Chief Technology Officer.
Intrepid Potash is the only producer of potash in the United States. They also produce Trio®, a specialty fertilizer that delivers three key nutrients: potassium, magnesium, and sulfate, all in a single particle. Intrepid is a leader in solar evaporation production, one of the most environmentally friendly production methods for potash. Intrepid`s efforts provide the necessary agricultural resources to feed people all around the world. Headquartered in Denver, Colorado, Intrepid Potash, Inc. has two production facilities in Utah and three in New Mexico. These subsidiaries are named: Intrepid Potash® - Moab, LLC, Intrepid Potash® - Wendover, LLC and Intrepid Potash® - New Mexico, LLC. These companies collectively employ approximately 500 people. Intrepid`s top priorities are safety and long-term protection of the environment. We know this can work in concert with sustainable, low cost production. Each facility has extensive ore reserves. Intrepid Potash, Inc. is on the leading edge of solution mining technology, having successfully designed, drilled and placed into production the first horizontal potash caverns in the world at its Moab, Utah facility.
