About the Person

Harun Rashid comes to Akron Children’s with more than 25 years of information services experience, having most recently served as vice president for international services and vice president for tele-health services for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC).   Prior to those positions, he served 11 years as vice president for global health services and chief information officer for Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, the Magee Women’s Hospital and the Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic – all within UPMC.
