The Oklahoma Department of Commerce is the primary economic development entity in the state. What we do: Business Attraction, Creation and Retention We recruit new businesses to the state by promoting the great assets we have for businesses to succeed. We work to foster an entrepreneurial culture and infrastructure in Oklahoma to encourage the start-up of new businesses and partner with communities to ensure existing businesses grow and prosper. Community Development We partner with city and county elected officials and community leaders to help raise incomes, improve the quality of life for local residents, and help local businesses to thrive. Through federal funding, we oversee vital infrastructure and human services investments that help position communities as favorable for business attraction.
Regulating energy development; conserving land and water resources; protecting wildlife; conducting scientific research; preserving national parks, monuments, and heritage areas; and addressing American Indian concerns. These diverse activities and more are the responsibility of the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI). The mission of the Office of Inspector General (OIG) is to provide independent oversight and promote excellence, integrity, and accountability within the programs, operations, and management of the U.S. Department of the Interior. We are a highly motivated organization of about 265 employees conducting independent oversight and responding in the best interest of American taxpayers to ensure that DOI earns the public`s trust. We are alert to waste, fraud, and mismanagement, whether expressed as administrative waste or criminal activity, and we use a range of audit and investigative tools to ensure that the Secretary of the Interior, Congress, and the public are informed when changes to DOI programs become necessary to achieve this goal.

Christian Opportunity Center is a nonprofit organization that provides people with disabilities the opportunity to reach their fullest potential by integrating Christian values in teaching skills for life. Founded in 1969, COC provides residential and vocational support and services to 290 people with disabilities in Marion, Mahaska, Warren and Polk counties.
Kentucky Public Pensions Authority (KPPA) is a multi-billion dollar retirement system serving 394,940 state and local government employees and retirees. The Commonwealth of Kentucky provides retirement benefits for state and county employees through the KPPA. KPPA consists of the Kentucky Employees Retirement System (KERS), County Employees Retirement System (CERS), and State Police Retirement System (SPRS). State employees, employees of local health departments, eligible employees of regional state universities, and other agencies qualified under state law participate in KERS. Employees of city, county, and local municipalities, along with classified employees of local school boards, participate in CERS. Participants of SPRS consist of all state police officers.
