At IPG Mediabrands, Hagen led this charge as the Global Chief Technology Officer by rebuilding the global media data and operations infrastructure in partnership with multiple strategic outsourcing providers. His global team of more than 200 technologists was managed with consistent year over year productivity improvements, using latest methods to strategy and human resource management. Day to day challenges and solutions spanned from maintaining global SOX compliance to operating regional media systems and all the way to envisioning marketing campaigns for some of the largest companies in the world that want to leverage paid, owned and earned media to execute their brand strategies more innovative. Before that for more than a decade at IBM, Hagen was developing strategies, execution plans and running transformational activities for multibillion-dollar market opportunities such as Cloud Computing, Mobility and Wireless, and Energy and Environment. Earlier in his career as an IBM consultant he worked on business strategies for industries spanning as wide as Consumer Electronics, Automotive, Healthcare and Aerospace and transformed procurement, supply chain, IT and strategy processes.
