The Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene (WSLH) is the state`s public, environmental and occupational health laboratory. We protect the health and safety of Wisconsin`s people and environment and provide training to other professionals. Founded in 1903 at the University of Wisconsin and as an auxiliary unit reporting to the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, the WSLH embodies the Wisconsin Idea.
