About the Person

Gordon D. Wishon is Chief Information Officer at Arizona State University, a position he assumed in August 2010. Gordon served previously as CIO at the University of Notre Dame from 2001 through January of 2010. Prior to his appointment at Notre Dame, Gordon was the Associate Vice President and Associate Vice Provost for Information Technology at the Georgia Institute of Technology, a position he held since 1994. Prior to that appointment, Gordon served 20 years with the US Air Force in a variety of roles, among which was the engineering of the first large scale production TCP/IP network in the Air Force, and where he completed his military career as CIO at the Air Force Institute of Technology.
