About the Company

About the Person
Gaston Roy has over 20 years of experience in supporting and expanding regional eHealth services. He began his eHealth journey in the Oncology Information Technology Department at Health Sciences North following his graduation from Laurentian University with a Bachelor of Science degree. For the past 10 years, Gaston has served as the Chief Information Officer for HSN and is responsible for Information Technologies. Gaston is also responsible for hosting a number of NE LHIN hospital-based services including: NEON (North Eastern Ontario Network) corporations sharing an integrated regional Electronic Medical Record and financial system; NEHSA (North Eastern Health Services Alliance) seven corporations sharing an integrated PACS solution; and offers Data Centre hosting services to partners across Ontario. Gaston is recognized nationally by his peers and in the Health Care industry, as an innovator supported by a large IT department and numerous funding agreements, enabling economic development with Sudbury.
