Snyder`s-Lance creates and markets snack foods throughout the United States and internationally. The company`s snack pantry includes pretzels, sandwich crackers, potato chips, cookies, tortilla chips, restaurant-style crackers, nuts and so much more. Snyder`s-Lance has production facilities in 9 states. Our good eats are distributed widely through grocery and mass merchandisers, convenience stores, club stores, food service outlets and other channels.
RUNA was founded in 2009, days after we graduated from college. But our story begins several years earlier, when Tyler was living with the Kichwa people in the Ecuadorian Amazon. It was then he was introduced to guayusa – a naturally caffeinated tree leaf brewed like tea, consumed early in the morning to help interpret dreams and late at night to provide energy and clarity while hunting in the jungle. He loved the earthy flavor, smooth taste, and energy boost he got from the leaf. Living and working in Latin and South America, we both saw how unsustainable activities like logging were enticing ways for people living in the rainforest to pay for education and medicine. We also saw how development projects implemented by NGOs often floundered because they lacked buy-in from local stakeholders.
The Toufayan family’s been baking breads with quality and care since 1926, the year we opened our first bakery. Still family owned over 90 years later, we’re one of the largest, privately-held specialty bakeries in the United States, filling lunch bags, toasters and tummies with our fresh flatbreads, pitas, bagels and snack-time yummies. Toufayan Bakeries produces over 100 varieties of baked goods daily, including product options and innovations created to meet a variety of specifically consumer needs, such as Low Carb Bagels and Gluten Free Wraps.
Headquartered in Le Mars, Iowa, Wells is the largest family-owned privately held ice cream processor in the United States, producing more than 900 ice cream and frozen novelties treats. Wells produces Blue Bunny® ice cream, frozen novelties and specialty frozen desserts along with the iconic Bomb Pop® brand. So much ice cream is produced in Le Mars by Wells that the city was designated as the Ice Cream Capital of the World® by the Iowa legislature!
