Pete Pappas & Sons Inc., a 4th generation family owned and operated business, grows, ships, packs and distributes fresh produce. This family business began in 1942 and has grown into two in-house brands: Patricia Brand Premium Produce and Pete`s Garden Organics. Pete Pappas & Sons has also expanded into farming in Tennessee, with their farm called Smoky Mountain Family Farms. Pete Pappas & Sons is run from a state of the art and fully refrigerated Jessup, MD warehouse spanning a whopping 120,000sf. The company was founded around tomatoes in the 1940s and it has grown to now specialize in many types of premium produce including tomatoes, berries, onions, peppers, melons, local and seasonal produce and even organics. Both the Jessup facility, and farm location in Tennessee are GFSI and organic certified.
