We are North America`s first social water brand, dedicated to the pursuit of positive experience and providing the highest quality water in the world, with a reduced environmental footprint. Founded by serial entrepreneur, Nicholas Reichenbach, Flow offers consumers the healthful benefits of drinking naturally alkaline spring water from a local and sustainable source. “We imagined a bottled water brand that was naturally healthful. Not filtered or altered tap water owned by a major corporation. We looked for an alternative to the plastic bottle, a package with the lowest possible carbon footprint. We stopped looking and we started creating.” -Founder & CEO Nicholas Reichenbach Our water has been nurtured for thousands of years in a limestone aquifer located on a family-owned property in Mildmay, Ontario, Canada. Flow`s water naturally collects essential minerals, electrolytes, and an alkaline pH. We have partnered with Tetra-Pak to create the industry`s lowest-carbon footprint packaging that is also PET and BPA free. Our goal, together with Tetra-Pak, is to make a pack that is completely renewable. More than two thirds of Flow`s package is made of paperboard that comes from trees harvested in responsibly managed forests and/or controlled sources. None of the resources used in our cartons come from old growth trees or rainforests. It uses just enough material to keep the package stable. Our packets are 3-5% package and 95-7% content - thinner than an eggshell. Flow Direct, our subscription service delivers water to your home or office for free VIA our eco-friendly electric SUV. Say hello to H2O 2.0!
It all started in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The idea and name for Duck Donuts originated in Duck, North Carolina, where my family and I vacationed for many years. We enjoyed all there was to see and do in the quiet, family-oriented town, but we noticed there was nowhere to get that sweet staple of happiness—a warm, fresh donut. What started as a whim developed into fun recipe sessions, many months of research and collaboration, and eventually led to the first Duck Donuts opening in the town of Duck, NC, in 2007! We soon found that our warm, delicious, and made-to-order donuts paired with a great selection of coffees were a recipe for success! We expanded to other locations and states and added many franchise owners to our Duck Donuts family. Along the way, we have kept our focus on delighting our guests by offering a welcoming, family-friendly and delicious experience to everyone that visits one of our shops. The teams who manage and work in our stores make all the difference and we are very proud of their dedication and contributions.
At Pure Prairie Poultry, we invite you back to a time when both chicken and intentions were honest, simple, good. Neighbors knew one another other by name, communities came together, and handshakes sealed relationships. Though the here-and-now feels complicated, it doesn`t have to be. It takes awareness and commitment to use modern practices for good—not as a replacement for the ideas and touch of real people and real food.

What if you weren`t afraid to read the ingredients on a hot dog package? Or better yet, what if you weren`t afraid to know where the meat in your hot dog came from? These questions were the inspiration behind Applegate. I grew up in the meat and potatoes era of the 1950s, when a meal wasn`t a meal without meat. However, when I went away to college in the `70`s, my ideas about food expanded. There, I was exposed to vegetarianism, macrobiotics, and food gurus. In the co-op I belonged to, we bought granola, yogurt, and grains in bulk, and ate them with local fruits and vegetables. While I appreciated the quality and health benefits of these foods, I still craved meat. While shopping one day, I saw nitrite-free bacon and had an epiphany: I could feel good about eating meat if it didn`t contain ingredients I knew were bad for me. Meat and I were reunited. In my 20s I tried my hand at a number of different jobs, none of which satisfied my desire to build something from the ground up. I started looking for a business to grow and stumbled upon Jugtown Smokehouse through a combination of intuition and serendipity. At the time, Jugtown was a family owned business specializing in nitrite-free bacon (de ja-vu!). While it bore no resemblance to what Applegate is today, I could see its potential. I also knew there had to be more people out there who would appreciate healthy meat products, and decided to buy the business. As it turns out, countless people have a love/hate relationship with meat and are thrilled to find products they can finally feel good about eating. People like you have helped build Applegate over the last 25 years. With that support, you`ve helped preserve the nearly 1,000 farms that supply us with humanely raised meat that is free from antibiotics or hormones. So…What if you weren`t afraid to read the ingredients on a hot dog package? Like me, you`d feel better about eating them, and serving them to your family. That simple idea has always been, and will continue to be, what drives Applegate. From our table to yours, thank you for joining the movement.
