About the Person
In his new position, Eric Otterstein will focus on key areas aligning with Assurity’s strategy to be a technology leader in the insurance industry. Otterstein will also be serving as a member of the Office of Strategy Management (OSM), a group comprised of Assurity’s senior leadership. Among OSM’s goals are to identify the company’s yearly and long term strategic initiatives, create a company scorecard, and identify sales targets. Otterstein previously served as senior director and chief information officer, providing vision and leadership in technology initiatives throughout the company. He has nearly 25 years of experience in insurance and technology. Prior to working for Assurity, Otterstein performed engineering and data analysis for several telecommunication companies.
