(UCAP) – was adopted through the merging of two organizations (Heartland Community Action and Western Community Action) with a rich history of helping people, changing lives, and working to eliminate poverty in the lives of people in Cottonwood, Jackson, Kandiyohi, Lincoln, Lyon, McLeod, Meeker, Redwood, and Renville counties. UCAP is a joint effort to bring together area resources to effectively and efficiently address the growing needs of our local communities in southwest Minnesota.
