About the Person

In this role, Douglas Hardman will serve as the leading R&D innovator and visionary for Payscape merchant service solutions and SaaS-based products. He will also oversee a growing team of developers working to safely process billions in credit card transactions annually.   For the past 11 years, Hardman served as CEO and Founder of SparkBase, one of the largest loyalty marketing providers. His innovative direction grew the company from a gift and loyalty card processor, to a customer acquisition and retention tool provider for businesses worldwide. And finally, under his leadership, SparkBase was named a “Top 100 Workplace in NE Ohio” by the Plain Dealer and won numerous awards, including the ETA’s “Technology Innovation of the Year.” Hardman also serves on several councils and committees for the ETA.
