About the Person
Donald E. Beaver, also known as Don, has been the Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Petsmart, Inc. since May 23, 2005. Mr. Beaver leads all aspects of business information development for Petsmart Inc. including supply chain, financial, marketing and store operations systems. He served as most recently senior vice president and CIO for H-E-B Grocery Co., which he joined in 1999. Previously, he served 14-years at Allied Signal Aerospace, Inc., where he left as vice president and Chief Information Officer of their marketing, sales and service division. Beaver began his career at Eastman Kodak, where he was a programmer analyst. He holds a Bachelor's degree in mathematical computer science with a minor in business from Lock Haven University. He is a pet parent to two cats, Carly and Chloe.
