About the Person
Derek Moore was the San Jose Unified School District's director of technology services. Moore began his career as a network engineer for Accurate Data Networks before joining Willow Glen Elementary School in San Jose as a computer support technician, according to a district press release. From 2006 to 2011, he worked in the Campbell Union School District, first as a computer technician and then as the supervisor of technology. The next few years he spent as director of technology services for San Jose Unified.
