About the Person

David Wright is Chief Technology Officer at LPL Financial. Previously, David was Chief Information Officer of McGraw-Hill Education. Prior to that, Mr. Wright was Senior Vice President at Capital One where he held key roles such as Head of Global Technology Infrastructure, Credit Card CIO and U.K. CIO. Prior to joining Capital One, Mr. Wright held a number of positions with the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. Mr. Wright holds a master’s degree in Management of Information Technology from the University of Virginia as well as an MBA and bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. He also serves as Vice Chairman of Feedmore, an organization that delivers Food Bank and Meals on Wheels services to Central Virginia, and he was appointed by the Governor of Virginia to the Secure Commonwealth Panel.
