About the Person
Mr. David S. Wichmann, Dave has been the President of UnitedHealth Group Operations at United Healthcare National Accounts since April 2008. Mr. Wichmann has been an Executive Vice President of UnitedHealth Group Inc. since December 2006 and has been its President of Operations since April 22, 2008. He has been Chief Financial Officer of Unitedhealth Group, Inc. since January 2011. Mr. Wichmann is charged with optimizing business performance across UnitedHealth Group and within each of the market groups and business segments. Mr. Wichmann served as Chief Executive Officer of Specialized Care Services of UnitedHealth Group Inc. from June 2003 to July 2004 and also served as its President of Commercial Markets Group from January 1, 2007 to April 2008. He served as President and Chief Operating Officer of UnitedHealthcare from July 2004 to December 2006 and Executive Vice President from December 2006 to May 2008. He joined UnitedHealth Group in 1998 and served as its Senior Vice President.
