About the Person

David Taylor serves as the Chief Technology Officer of Exegy, a premier provider of managed services and technology for the normalization and distribution of real-time financial market data. As a passionate product and technology evangelist, he is a key contributor to product strategy, architecture, and management. Dr. Taylor is an inventor on 44 United States and 30 international patents and patents-pending.

 Prior to joining Exegy, Dr. Taylor was a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Washington University in Saint Louis where he received the Doctor of Science degree in Computer Engineering. In addition to computer communications research at the Applied Research Laboratory, he held a research internship with the network processor hardware group at the IBM Zurich Research Laboratory.
