David E. Kepler, II, also known as Dave, has been the Chief Information Officer of The Dow Chemical Company since 1998 and has been its Chief Sustainability Officer since October 2007 and its Executive Vice President since 2008. Mr. Kepler served as Executive Vice President of Business Services of The Dow Chemical Company since March 2008. He serves as a Co-Chairman of EH&S Member of Management Board, where he is responsible for guiding sustainable business development. He serves as the Regional Vice Chairman of Great Lakes. Mr. Kepler served as a Corporate Director of Shared Services of The Dow Chemical Company. He was responsible for all Shared Services functions including Customer Service, Information Systems, Purchasing, Six Sigma, Supply Chain, Work Process Improvement, and Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S). Previously, he served as Chief Information Officer of The Dow Chemical Company since 1998 and also as its Executive Vice President. He served as Senior Vice President of shared services of The Dow Chemical Company since March 2006. He served as Corporate Vice President of Shared Services of The Dow Chemical Company from 2004 to February 2006 and also served as its Senior Vice President since February 2006. He served as Head of shared services of The Dow Chemical Company and served as its Senior Vice President of Environment, Health and safety. He joined The Dow Chemical Company in the Western Division Computer and Process Systems group in 1975. Mr. Kepler served as Corporate Vice President and was responsible for eBusiness since 2000 and served responsible for Advanced Electronic Materials from 2002 to 2003 and further expanded his role the following year, adding responsibility for Global Purchasing and Supply Chain. He served as Vice President of Dow Chemical from 1998 to 2000, Director of Global Information Application from 1995 to 1998, Director of Global Information Systems Services from 1994 to 1995 and Manager of Information Technology for Chemicals and Plastics from 1993 to 1994. He also served as Commercial Director of Dow Canada Performance Products from 1989 to 1991 and Director of Pacific Area Information Systems from 1991 to 1993. He served as Computer Services Manager of Dow U.S.A. Eastern Division from 1984 to 1988. Mr. Kepler serves as the Chairman of Neolytica, Inc. He serves as the Chairman of the Corporate Environmental Advisory Council (CEAC) of The Dow Chemical Company He serves as Chairman of the Alexis de Toqueville Society. He served as Chairman of the United Way of Midland County Campaign since 2004. He served as Co-Chairman of Executive Rail Group at American Chemistry Council, Inc., and serves as its Director. He has been a Director of Teradata Corporation since November 1, 2007. He has been a Director at The Toronto-Dominion Bank., since December 5, 2013. He serves as a Director of Dorinco Reinsurance Company. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Midland Community Cancer Services and Alden B. Dow Museum of Science and Art. He serves as a Director of U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the American Chemical Society, and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. He served as a Director of American Chemistry Council, Inc. Mr. Kepler studied Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.
