Birmingham, AL-based Alabama Power has Promoted David Cox as Chief Information Officer
When Alabama Power Company was founded on Dec. 4, 1906, it was the beginning of more than simply an electric utility company. David Cox most recently served as the IT group manager for Generation and Transmission at Alabama Power and has previously held various other positions within Alabama Power and Southern Co. Services, according to the press release. Cox is a graduate of Samford University with a bachelor of science degree in biology and geography and earned his masters of business administration from Auburn University.
