About the Person
David Black joins CHS from Monsanto where most recently he has been vice president, information technology, responsible for its global business operations. This has included implementation, delivery and operation of information technology for the company's worldwide commercial businesses. He previously served as vice president, corporate strategy, and was responsible for new business development and the operation of its geographic information systems and remote sensing subsidiary. He joined Monsanto in 1992 and has held a broad range of global IT and enterprise resource roles including responsibility for North America and Latin America North IT, leadership assignments in Asia Pacific and Canada, along with global enterprise resource planning for core business transactions including finance, manufacturing and human resources, and the consolidation and reporting of data from these business processes. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Tarkio College, Tarkio, Mo.
