Catching the computer bug durring the early 80's in high school and cutting class to write code the schools mainframe Ed Watson always had a knock and great interest in computers. He started Mobius Works part time in 1996 while working in sales and learning how businesses operate. He quickly realized the growing presence of computers in small businesses.and left his other jobs behind to run his business full time in 2001. Early on, Dave Alger was used for special programming and advanced hardware needs. It didn’t take long to realize the combination of Ed’s communication and sales skills and Dave’s hardware and programming knowledge would make a great team. When the time was right, they joined forces and hit the marketplace. Mobius Works would never be the same and we take pride in being part of your company's family. About the Person
As a co-owner of the company, Dave is one of the original employees from when the company first incorporated. Dave graduated of Westfield State with a degree in Computer Science. His expertise lies in system and network design. As CIO/VP of Technical Services he is responsible for all the business and personnel at Mobius related to custom hardware solutions and day to day service activities. Dave is a true IT renaissance man and comfortable with both complex hardware issues and programming. He directs the course of our own technology deployments and keeps us on the cutting edge of an ever changing industry. His initiatives have led to our expertise in VIOP telephone communications, cloud based application and equipment hosting as well as our local data center project. He is truly the backbone of our technical services division.
