Carbondale, CO-based Roaring Fork School District has Retired Dave McGavock as Director of Technology
The Roaring Fork Schools offer the more than 5,600 students it serves a unique learning experience with academic rigor, deep relationships, a safe and caring environment, and opportunities for all. The district has 13 schools in the communities of Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, and Basalt. Each community has a PreK-12 school continuum that provides consistency and strong school community. Our students` diverse ethnicities, cultures, and socio-economic backgrounds create rich educational and cultural experiences for the entire school community. Our mission is to ensure that every student develops the enduring knowledge, skills and character to thrive in a changing world.
David McGavock was joined Roaring Fork School District in August 1994. After 19 years with the Roaring Fork School District, Dave McGavock, director of technology, is retiring. A bank of computers and monitors on the shelf behind him helps illustrate the evolution of computer technology during his time with the district.
