About the Person
Dave Jones is Chief Technical Officer at Zayo, where he is responsible for overall technology strategy, cyber security and IT functions for the company. Dave has over 25 years of experience in the wireless and broadband industries. His responsibilities have included engineering, implementation, operations, business development, product and overall P&L management. From 2012 to 2015, he was Senior Vice President of Zayo’s Mobile Infrastructure product group. Prior to joining Zayo, Dave was Senior Vice President of Network Services at FiberTower Corporation. He has also held senior management and technical positions with Formus Communications Europe, Sprint PCS, US WEST and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA). Dave holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s of Science degree in Telecommunications, both from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
