About the Person

Dave Cooper brings over 25 years of software leadership experience to this role. Most recently, he was Chief Technology Officer for Rockwell Software - the $300 million+ software division of Rockwell Automation. He came to Rockwell Software via acquisition of Pavilion Technologies where he was also the CTO. At Pavilion he transformed an existing disparate set of products and tools into a cohesive platform for high-value, enterprise- wide, model-based optimization solutions. Dave has lead research & development at multiple high growth software companies and assisted those companies through successful transformations. He served as the VP of Development at TenFold Corporation where he led the software development organization during an explosive 4 year growth phase from $3 million to $100+ million in revenue, as wells as through a highly successful IPO. He also served as the CTO for Echopass, a cloud-based solution for high-volume customer support contact centers.   Dave has provided strategic technology consulting to dozens of venture and private equity-backed software companies helping them drive growth, differentiation, scalability, and robustness. Early in his career he held senior development leadership positions at software icons Novell, WordPerfect, and Corel. As an entrepreneur he has started multiple successful software companies. Dave got an early start to his career when, at age 14, he founded his first software company that he grew to over $10 million in revenue before being acquired a few years later.
