About the Person
Daniel Morreale resigned from the post of Chief Information Officer at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center. He currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Information Officer at St John's Riverside Hospital of Riverside Healthcare System. Previously, he also served as President InfoShare and corporate CIO at Atlanticare, as Commissioner in State of New Jersey, as Chief Information Officer at North Bronx Healthcare Network, as Director at Carrier Foundation and as Data System Manager at LICH. He holds an Advanced degree in the field of clinical study and is a Fellow of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives, and an active Board Member of the New Jersey Chapter of HIMSS. Mr. Morreale holds an advanced degree in clinical study. He has been awarded the CHIME “INNOVATOR OF THE YEAR “award, the CHIME “COLLOBRATION OF THE YEAR” award and was recognized by Computerworld Magazine as one of the “PREMIER 100 IT LEADERS.” He is proud to have been awarded the “SAFETY NET AWARD” by National Association of Public Hospitals for his advancement of CPOE, as well as the Smithsonian “CENTER OF INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY HONORS LAUREATE AWARD” for his work on a comprehensive Electronic Health Record. Daniel earned his Bachelor's degree in Arts from Marist College and his Master's degree from LIU.
