Sunrise, FL-based Easy Solutions has Appointed Daniel Ingevaldson as Chief Technology Officer
Easy Solutions is the only security vendor focused on the comprehensive detection and prevention of electronic fraud across all devices, channels and clouds. Our products range from anti-phishing and secure browsing to multifactor authentication and transaction anomaly detection, offering a one-stop shop for multiple fraud prevention services.
With over 15 years of experience protecting some of the world’s biggest organizations from next-generation threats, Daniel is our guru when it comes to developing fresh approaches to online security and fraud. As our CTO, he defines and executes the strategies for researching and creating the next phase of Total Fraud Protection products. Daniel was co-founder of Endgame Systems, Inc., a startup focused on building advanced network security technology for United States government clients. As the Chief Operating Officer, he managed day-to-day operations at the company, including technology, engineering and corporate strategy. Endgame Systems raised $29 million of Series A funding in 2010 from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Bessemer Venture Partners, Columbia Capital and TechOperators to expand its commercial and federal operations. Daniel also spent a decade at Internet Security Systems, Inc. (ISS), where he held various roles in research, management, consulting and strategy during the company’s early growth stages as well as its acquisition and merger with IBM. He joined ISS in 1998 to form part of the trailblazing “X-Force” R&D group that would eventually become the most productive and influential independent vulnerability research group in the industry. At the same time, Daniel also occupied an important role as an ISS public spokesperson, sharing his expert opinions with media outlets and speaking at conferences on various topics such as emerging threats, market trends, risk forecasting, and whatever cutting-edge research the X-Force was working on at the time. Later, when ISS joined with IBM, he helped create IBM’s overall security strategy and developed products to deal with issues such as network and browsing protection, web application security, and date leakage prevention. Daniel has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Purdue University.
