Tucson, AZ-based Tucson Unified School District has Appointed Damon Jackson as Chief Technology Officer
Established in 1867, Tucson Unified School District is the oldest district in the state, formed when Arizona was still a territory. TUSD is also one of the largest districts in the state, encompassing 229.5 square miles in southeast Arizona, Pima County. We have a diverse student population of over 52,000 students in grades pre-K-12. We feature more than 90 schools, including magnet schools which offer a wide range of special programs.
Damon Jackson is currently the Senior Infrastructure Manager for the City of Ft. Worth. He has been the CTO for the Tucson Unified School District in Tucson, Arizona, and for Ector County ISD in Odessa, Texas. His private industry experience includes Dell Computer Corporation and Hughes Aircraft. He is a veteran of the US Army, serving as a Signals Intelligence Analyst. Jackson is a West Texas native and received his bachelor’s degree from Lubbock Christian University.
