About the Person

As Chief Technology Officer, Craig Dean will lead Orrick’s global IT team and work with the firm’s Technology Committee and Leadership Team to advance Orrick’s IT strategy. He most recently served as Orrick’s IT Director for Firmwide Operations and is based in the firm’s Global Operations Center in Wheeling. Dean is an IT professional with experience developing strategies, leading teams and managing major projects for Fortune 500 and private companies. He served for seven years with Medrad, Inc. a Bayer Health Care company, ultimately assuming the role of Chief Information Officer. Dean has also served as a manager and consultant with Perot Systems and Accenture, where he led projects for clients such as HJ Heinz, US Steel and Corning Glass. He earned his MBA, with Honors, from the University of Pittsburgh.
