About the Person

Corne Aantjes serves as CEO of ORTEC North America, with responsibility for ORTEC business operations in North and South America. He has over 15 years of experience in the field of information technology optimization solutions and Operations Research.

Since earning his Master's degree in Operations Research, Aantjes has applied his optimization knowledge and proficiency in a variety of areas. A particular area of expertise is advanced routing and scheduling. Additionally, his research in the fields of resource allocation, network design, and inventory management has helped many organizations identify and implement plans to achieve their optimization goals.

Aantjes has led various large software development and implementation projects in the area of forecasting, routing and scheduling that significantly improved business processes for Direct Store Distribution, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Supply Chain and Transportation. In each of these areas he has successfully implemented ORTEC solutions for customers such as BP Amoco, Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE), Chevron Texaco, DHL, FedEx, Dot Foods and Yellow Transportation throughout the world.
