In 1956, the Legislature passed a bill creating DWR to plan, design, construct, and oversee the building of the nation`s largest state-built water development and conveyance system. Today, DWR protects, conserves, develops, and manages much of California`s water supply including the State Water Project which provides water for 27 million Californians and 750,000 acres of farmland Working with other agencies and the public, DWR develops strategic goals, and near-term and long-term actions to conserve, manage, develop, and sustain California`s watersheds, water resources, and management systems. DWR also works to prevent and respond to floods, droughts, and catastrophic events that would threaten public safety, water resources and management systems, the environment, and property. Balancing the State`s water needs with environmental protection remains a long-term challenge.
Established in 1978, the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) is the largest municipal housing preservation and development agency in the nation. The agency`s mission is to promote the construction and preservation of affordable, high quality housing for low- and moderate-income families in thriving and diverse neighborhoods in every borough by enforcing housing quality standards, financing affordable housing development and preservation, and ensuring sound management of the City`s affordable housing stock. HPD is responsible for carrying out Housing New York: A Five-Borough Ten-Year Plan, Mayor Bill de Blasio`s initiative to build or preserve 200,000 affordable housing units and to help both tenants and landlords preserve the quality and affordability of their homes. HPD is leading the Mayor`s charge, in partnership with over 13 sister agencies, advocates, developers, tenants, community organizations, elected officials, and financial institutions.
Program Support Center (PSC) is a shared services provider within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) that partners with agencies to collaboratively generate solutions to their most pressing administrative challenges. PSC provides valuable, cost effective, and innovative mission support solutions to foster government efficiency.

State Party Members and County Chairman serve on the State Party and elect a Chairman and Vice Chairman to a four-year term. State Party Members also elect a National Committeeman and National Committeewoman to represent Pennsylvania on the Republican National Committee to elect a National Chairman.
