Incorporated in 1852, Oakland is the eighth largest city in California, with an estimated population of 425,000 and a wealth of resources and opportunities. Genesee County also operates Genesee County Airport, Genesee County Nursing Home, Genesee County Forest and Parks, and supports the Holland Land Museum and the Genesee Chamber of Commerce. The County operates on a calendar fiscal year.
