The College strives to provide students with the right kind of environment to build strong foundations for future success. Our students transfer to universities and colleges throughout the United States and join the work force having received state-of-the art technical training. Through our partnerships with institutions such as the University of Texas at Arlington and Tarleton State University, to name a few, students may also pursue bachelor, master and doctorate degrees. The College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and many other program-specific accrediting authorities. As a publicly-supported, comprehensive community college and a member of the system of higher education, Weatherford College primarily serves the needs of its five-county service area through teaching, research, public service and learning.
