About the Person
Christopher R. Wood, M.D., has been named chief medical information officer at Maywood-based Loyola University Health System. In the new role, he will help physicians use data to improve care for their patients. Before joining Loyola, Wood, a family medicine physician, was medical director of information systems at Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City, Utah. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah, and is a graduate of the University of Utah School of Medicine.
