About the Person

Christopher Dela Rosa had been serving as interim vice president for information technology at Harford Community College since January. He served previously as associate vice president for information technology, director for information technology operations and manager of technology operations at Harford Community College. He has also worked as an adjunct professor in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics division at the College.

Prior to joining HCC, Dela Rosa served concurrently as director, development office for information technology/CIO, and dean, college of information technology, at Malayan Colleges Laguna (Laguna, Philippines). In addition, he previously worked at the Mapúa Institute of Technology (Manila, Philippines) as director, development office for information technology/chief information officer and assistant professor.

Dela Rosa earned a bachelor of science in computer engineering, a bachelor of science in electronics and communications engineering and a master of engineering (computer engineering) at the Mapúa Institute of Technology (Manila, Philippines). He earned his doctorate in management with a major in information systems and technology from the University of Phoenix.
