About the Person

Chris Smith was former Chief Information Officer of U.S. Department of Agriculture. Smith comes to AT&T Government Solutions from Accenture Federal Services. At USDA Smith pioneered the agency's migration to cloud, a transition involving more than 120,000 users, representing the largest implementation of cloud by a federal agency.  Prior to his years at USDA, Smith held senior positions with the General Services Administration and the Internal Revenue Service.   Additionally, he has led multiple missions around the globe as a Joint Tactical Communications Officer during his military service in the Air Force, Air National Guard and Army National Guard.
