Waterloo, ON-based In The Chat has Appointed Chris Howlett as Chief Technology Officer

 

About the Company

ITC was founded by customer service expert, John Huehn, formerly the VP of Customer Support at Canada’s largest wireless, data and Telecom Company. ITC’s Management team has more than 100-years of customer service, direct sales and technology experience, at some of the largest, most successful institutions in the world.

 

About the Person

Chris Howlett, who has over 25 years’ experience in the enterprise technology and high-tech venture space, will be responsible for leading In the Chat’s product strategy and development teams. Prior to joining In the Chat, Howlett has held technology leadership positions at Maplesoft and Geosign. He was also a Canadian Regional Director for Microsoft. Most recently, Howlett has been providing strategic guidance to start-ups in Canada’s technology Hub, Waterloo Region, as the CTO in Residence at Communitech and the Technology Mentor at the Waterloo Accelerator Centre. Howlett holds a PhD in Mathematics from McMaster University and his MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York.
