Catherine “Kate” Krupey joined KatzAbosch in 2009 as Director of Information Technology. In her new role as CIO, Kate will provide vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiatives that support the Firm’s strategic goals and mission. Kate’s strategic focus includes: World Class Customer Service, Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery, IT to Business Alignment, and Continued Data Process Improvement. Kate has over 20 years of experience both optimizing and transforming IT for professional services firms, technology startups and public sector organizations. As an executive leader within KatzAbosch, Kate creates and executes the strategic roadmap for KatzAbosch`s information technology and management systems. She evaluates technology developments, trends and opportunities that support the Firm’s goals. As a member of management, Kate provides continual guidance on business processes, data protection, security, risk management and operational improvements. She regularly gathers constructive feedback from Shareholders and staff throughout the year, attends department meetings and participates on operational improvement committees. Kate requires that IT practice standard operating procedures and change-management while ensuring IT transparency by promoting Governance and oversight. Within the Firm, Kate is a contributor and key asset to all C-Level executives and provides mentorship to staff. She actively represents the Firm at industry events and public speaking engagements. Kate earned her Bachelor of Science from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA and holds PMP and MCSE certifications. She is an active member of the following organizations: Leading Edge Alliance, IT Special Interest Group; Boomer Circles; Better Business Bureau; Baltimore Area Leaders in Technology (BALT); and Mercy High School Executive Alumnae Board.
